Richland Area Chamber of Commerce
The Richland Area Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development is a member-based organization that supports economic development throughout the Mansfield, OH and Richland County area. In recent years, we have had the opportunity to work closely with the chamber on several different projects.
First, we’ve had the chance to film and edit videos for the “Small Business of the Year” finalists, an experience that has been both fun and inspiring. In doing this we’ve traveled all around the area, meeting these small business owners and getting to tell their stories. These videos, which are interview-style pieces that include b-roll shots as well, are played at an event put on by the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce where the winners of each category are announced.
We have also had the pleasure of filming and editing other videos for the chamber, including videos honoring the Chairman’s Award winners and even a promotional video for the Richland Area Chamber’s annual meeting. This was a very creative piece that we had lots of fun putting together. It features an entire city built of Legos which we put together piece by piece to create a video where it appears as though the city is building itself. This was an extremely unique piece that turned out great and was fun to be a part of.
Along with the video work we have completed for the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce, we have also worked on their website. We love taking an organization’s existing brand image and incorporating it into a new website. We used the chamber’s existing logo to inspire the color scheme and design of the website, bringing beautiful uniformity to the overall branding. In addition to the overall appearance of the website, it was important to the chamber that we develop the site in a way that could seamlessly incorporate the Chamber’s master site. For example, the website includes a drop down that can take site visitors to a business directory search portal. This particular portion of the website is pulled from the Chamber master site, however we made it look uniform so site visitors would never know it originated from a different place. By using the design and functionality of WordPress, we have the ability to do things like this for clients so they are still able to get the power of master platforms when needed.
We have also had the opportunity to work with the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce on livestream and photography projects. In the year where in-person gatherings became nonexistent due to the pandemic, we helped the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce livestream their annual Small Business of the Year awards. The photography projects we have completed consist of photographing the Pop up Park in our area as well as a Splash Pad added to our community.
Along with the work we have done for the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce, we also enjoy participating in their activities as board and committee members. From acting as a board member to serving on the Small Business of the Year Selection Committee, our employees enjoy our partnership with the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce.
Part of what makes us love what we do is that no job is quite the same. Clients are always bringing new and unique challenges to the table and we love being able to offer solutions to meet these needs. We take pride in telling our clients “yes, we can do that for you,” even if it means doing something we’ve never done before or learning a new skill to complete a project. This mindset is what has helped us create life-long relationships with many of our clients and we’re thankful for the businesses and organizations that have trusted us to create solutions for them year after year.
